Thank you Octopus for getting me home!

I am about to jump on a nice direct British Airways flight that will allow me to land in Heathrow with enough time to get ready and run the 30km from Terminal 5 to Central London for one last chance to raise awareness for three great charities – CALM, WaterAid and Macmillan.

The Octopus Foundation have generously sorted my flight home which I am very thankful to them for. But there generosity does not stop there. Please read on to learn a bit more about all the wonderful stuff they do for charity!

The Octopus Foundation was set up by Octopus Investments to help five charities across the UK and the charities they chose are those important to their staff. CALM is one of these charities. The others are:

Youth At Risk
Transforming the lives of society’s most alienated and marginalised young people.
North London Cares
Connecting volunteers with some of London’s most isolated people.
Rays of Sunshine
Improving the lives of the 40,000+ seriously and terminally ill children in the UK.
Educating disadvantaged children and young adults and rescuing retired racehorses.
